A big thank you to the Hon.Chairman & Committe members of recently concluded Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Departments of Tourism,Transport & Culture. ART-M had an opportunity to represent Malabar tourism and provide different suggestions among few other inspiring minds from Malabar region.Very unique ideas have been shared and the committee was very keen on finding the needs to develop tourism industry of North Kerala. The Parliament Committee was very much interested and keen in pushing novel ideas, one among them being Marine/ water connectivity related which goes tandem with the vision of Kerala tourism’s ongoing project like Malabar River Cruise Project as raised by a stake holder in the meeting. Yacht related tourism would be a premium experience if done appropriately in Malabar and also could feed tourism focus to shift towards untapped coastline and water bodies of Malabar.
ART- M demanded air connectivity to Mangalore & Kannur Airports from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai etc to attract visitors towards North Malabar.

ART-M, a visionary organisation show cases different trails in our region to woo the domestic and international tourists.
North Malabar of Kerala upto Payyannur was in erstwhile South Canara Dt of earlier Madras province till the state reorganisation of 1956.
The region from Kundapuram of Karnataka in the north till Payyannur in the south was known as Tulunad which had it’s own unique culture, literature, music, martial arts etc.and social customs and not to mention about the centuries old food practices.
We, in ART-M are trying to bring out show case the uniqueness of Tulunad to the modern world.
The land of spices, coir and coconuts, attracts tourists just as it had drawn traders from across the world for centuries. Wedged between the Western ghats and the Arabian sea
In very ancient times, the people of the district followed Dravidian practices which were independent of any particular religious philosophy. They worshipped Nature, totem gods and goddesses as well as innumerable spirits by offering food or sacrifice, followed by music and dance.
The smile and spirit of Malabar are so special. The unique culture of the region has fascinating tales from history enriched by feats in sports, arts, and education. The moment you land in Malabar, you begin feeling the warmth of the people’s friendliness
The Ranipuram and Aralam wildlife sanctuaries are home to different species of animals including the elephants, leopards, deer, wild dogs, wild boars, macaques, jungle cats, leopard cats slender loris, porcupines, malabar giant squirrels, malabar civet cat, many species
